Here are some frequently asked questions regarding Casa Flamenca. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you can’t find the answer to your question here.

HOW MANY PEOPLE DOES THE BUNGALOW ACCOMMODATE?

4 adults (plus 1 baby up to 2 years in a travel cot).

DO YOU HAVE A TRAVEL COT OR HIGH CHAIR TO RENT?

Yes, we can provide a cot for for a one off charge of 10 euros and a high chair for 5 euros. Please bring your own bedding for the cot.

CAN WE SMOKE IN THE PROPERTY OR BRING PETS?

Sorry no – please smoke away from the bungalow and strictly no pets.

WHAT ARE THE DEPOSIT TERMS?

We require a non refundable 20% deposit to secure the booking and then your balance is due 6 weeks prior to arrival. There is also a cleaning fee of 65 euros payable to our keyholder on arrival.

IS THERE ANYWHERE TO PARK OUR CAR?

Yes, we are in a gated community complex and there are lots of parking spaces within the complex.

CAN YOU ORGANISE AIRPORT PICKUPS?

Yes, our keyholder can arrange this for you with local drivers in the area. Pick up information will be sent to you directly before you travel.

DO WE NEED TO BRING TOWELS OR A HAIRDRYER?

We provide towels for the bathrooms and this is part of the cleaning charge. If you are struggling with weight limits with your cases, we can leave out a set of beach towels on request but we just ask you wash, dry and replace these before you leave. We have 2 hairdryers available for our guests.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER WE PAY THE DEPOSIT?

Once you have paid the deposit, we will confirm receipt of payment and then send a booking form to you to complete with your arrival flight details etc. About 7 weeks before we will then contact you again regarding the final payment and also send you the arrival instructions and our welcome pack with lots of useful information about local restaurants and things to do in the area.

WHAT ARE CHECK IN AND DEPARTURE TIMES?

Arrival is from 2pm. On your departure day we ask that you vacate by 10am to allow time for cleaners to properly clean ready for our next guests. In low season if we don’t have same day changeovers we will always try and accommodate any late checkouts or early arrivals.

IS IT NECESSARY A HIRE A CAR TO GET AROUND THE AREA?

Absolutely not, there are plenty of very good restaurants and local shops within walking distance. We provide a shopping trolley for anyone that is doing a “big shop” and some supermarkets also offer a delivery service. Playa Flamenca beach is a 20 minute walk and local taxis are readily available. We can also recommend a couple of coach firms that do day trips which are very popular.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO HIRE BIKES TO GET AROUND?

Yes - in the welcome pack we do suggest a couple of local providers, some even drop off cycles at the bungalow!

I MAY NEED TO LOG ON TO WORK DURING OUR HOLIDAY – IS THE WIFI SUFFICIENT?

Yes - we have recently upgraded to super fast broadband which is extremely fast and reliable.

ARE ALL BOOKINGS ACCEPTED?

In respect for our lovely neighbours and to ensure our holiday home is kept to a high standard we don’t allow group bookings with large numbers travelling together.

DO YOU HAVE DISABLED ACCESS?

There are 3 steps up to the bungalow, but after that everything is on a flat surface and accessible in a wheelchair. The pool and complex are fully accessible.
